Trust & Privacy
This page explains what mortly collects, what verified brokers can see, and how we handle subscriptions, messaging, analytics, and support.
How mortly Handles Your Data
What we collect, what stays out of standard marketplace flows, and which service providers help us run the platform.
Direct Contact Details Stay Out of Listings
mortly does not automatically include your phone number or email address in borrower request listings or standard marketplace messages.
Scoped Access and Providers
We use established providers for authentication, payments, email delivery, analytics, and real-time messaging, and we limit access to the data needed for each workflow.
No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. If you want to request access, correction, deletion, or account closure, contact support and we will review the request subject to legal and operational retention needs.
Verification and Reporting Tools
Broker access depends on profile verification and admin review. We also provide reporting and moderation tools to investigate complaints and misuse.

Privacy and Account Requests
If you want to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, contact support@mortly.ca and include the email address on your account. We may retain certain records where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
What Brokers See First
Brokers can respond inside mortly, but mortly does not automatically reveal your direct contact details as part of standard request browsing or messaging.
Create a Request
Your request can include mortgage details such as product type, province, timeline, and notes. Your direct contact details are not part of the marketplace listing.
Receive Introductions and Messages
Verified brokers can respond inside mortly. They see your request details and conversation content, but not your direct contact details unless you choose to share them.
Share More Only If You Want To
If you decide to send a phone number, email address, or other identifying information in chat or off-platform, that disclosure is your choice.
Broker Access and Moderation
Broker accounts start in a pending state and are reviewed before they can access borrower requests.
Broker profile and license information submitted
Brokers must submit brokerage, province, and license information before they can access borrower requests.
Pending review before marketplace access
Broker accounts start in a pending state and require admin approval before messaging or responding.
Ongoing account status controls
Admins can verify, reject, suspend, or ban accounts when reports or review findings warrant action.
Reports and complaint follow-up
Users can report brokers, requests, and conversations. We review those reports and may warn, restrict, or remove accounts.
Report a Concern
If you believe a broker, borrower, request, or conversation violated our rules, contact us at support@mortly.ca. We review reports and may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts.
